La Jolla – our wedding is in the village of downtown La Jolla. There is great shopping and restaurants. The sightseeing is fantastic at La Jolla Cove where you have access to snorkeling and kayaking. Just south of downtown La Jolla is a nice area called Windansea beach and Bird Rock just south of there. You can rent a house in this area near beautiful beaches and still be close to downtown La Jolla.
Del Mar – this beautiful beach town is approximately 20 minutes north of La Jolla. The area is known for its nice shops and great restaurants on Camino del Mar. It also has great beaches, Powerhouse Park, and the Del Mar race track.
